Peak Electronic Design - purveyors of fine quality electronic component
identification equipment since... er.... How long have Peak been around,
anyway?
- Andre De Guerin

High voltage experimenter, electronics hobbyist and USENET regular. His
website is a bit sparse at the moment (is that a tumbleweed?), but
there's some very interesting info on there.
- Lee Davison
-
Lee Davison's homepage - the 2nd best site for 6502 computer enthusiasts
(the number one is 6502.org, by the way). He's designed a full 6502
based computer system and has developed a wonderful 6502 BASIC
interpreter known as EHBASIC. Now all I need is a 6502 based computer to
run it on. A simulator is NOT enough, dammit!
- SatCure
-
Satellite equipment, spares and service. Known for their low-cost Relkit
reliability upgrade and repair kits for most Sky Digibox receivers. Trust
me - a few capacitors *do* make a difference. The SatCure mailing list is
a mine of information on satellite equipment, analog or digital. Including
the "What to do if the Programme Planner won't let you delete an erroneous
entry" guide. Well worth a look.
- Chris Ward's site
-
Home to the CNW 6502 computer project. Chris has already partly implemented
the ROM BIOS (in 6502 assembler) and has created a runtime library for the
CC65 6502 C compiler. Well done Chris!
- Crownhill Associates
-
Sellers of PIC microcontrollers - lowest prices in the UK. No the chips
are _not_ so-called board pulls or engineering samples, they're brand new
chips (same as the ones other suppliers like Farnell sell).
- Designs by Mark
-
One of the best Photoshop tutorial sites on the Internet. I've moved on
to The GIMP, but some of the tips are still pretty useful.
- Delorie Software
-
Home of the best free 32-bit C/C++ compiler (DJGPP). Well worth
downloading (if you're a C or C++ programmer). There's also a
Borland-style integrated development environment (IDE) called RHIDE.
- PNGart
-
"The leading collection for free PNG images for use on your
web page". Nuff said. Webmasters against GIFs, go here!
- PNGcrush
-
A program for Win32/DOS to shrink down PNG files by removing
unnecessary data.
- Alexei Frounze's Homepage
-
Programming, operating system (Linux, DOS, Windows, etc) development and a
rather large page of hardware documentation. Well done Alexei! This site is
(in my opinion) one of, if not THE best programming sites around.
